In response to market demand, Soleil Fuels is establishing itself as a leading provider of sustainable feedstocks to the renewable energy sector in the UK, and our medium term objective is to become the country’s number one provider of this product and to grow extensively throughout the EMEA region by developing creative and innovative partnerships and acquisitions. While it is obvious to say that Soleil Fuels will aim to be a significant partner to Soleil Energy, it’s client base will not be limited to internal power generation installations Soleil Fuels is focused on a number of renewable feedstocks, but has a strong emphasis on Straw. When considering which raw material can be regarded as truly renewable, few can argue with the status of Straw. The company is also working with MSW (Municipal Solid Waste) and Dewatered Sludge as well as specialist wastes such as Medical. During the next two years, Soleil Fuels will develop a number of feedstock processing facilities throughout the UK in order to satisfy the significant contract commitments that it has now, and expects to secure. These facilities will range in capacity from 50,000 tonnes through to 200,000 tonnes and will be located at strategic points in the UK. We are committed to ensuring that our own carbon footprint as a business is contained, and for that reason will develop our capability with vehicle movements and overall environmental impact at the forefront. |  |
